Black-Jack Enamel had been specifically formulated to improve the appearance of your horse's hooves for the show ring. Improvements to the Black-Jack Enamel formulation have made the enamel more durable and easy to apply.

Directions
Prepare the hooves prior to applying Black-Jack Enamel. Clip the hair back from the top of the hoof line. This prevents the enamel from getting on the hair and provides a clean line along the hoof edge. Lightly sand the wall of the hoof using a fine grade paper or sanding block. This will provide a smooth surface and give the best possible appearance. Hoof needs to be dry and clean before applying Black-Jack Enamel thickly, starting at the top of the hoof and allowing it to run down the hoof, then smoothing it with the brush provided. One coat is generally sufficient. The enamel can be removed using mineral turpentine.
