Crafted with precision and purpose, the Exion Double Bridle features the shape of our W-shaped anatomical crownpiece, with four straps, specially designed for proper double bridle assembly and fit. Built in accordance with USEF & FEI Dressage rules, the W crownpiece provides a smooth, continuous padding that flows with the leather’s anatomical shape ensuring generous ear clearance while maintaining correct double bridle fitting.
>BROWBAND
A curved, padded browband with matching stitching adds to the classic dressage silhouette maintaining a cohesive look.
>NOSEBAND
This bridle features a thick, round raised, crank noseband, for even pressure distribution. The generous padding and secure crank design help stabilize the bridle while keeping your horse comfortable, especially under the added complexity of a double bridle setup ensuring the double bridle purpose is fulfilled at the same time.
>REINS
Includes two pairs of double bridle reins—a pair of leather reins with 7 hand stops, and a pair of leather curb reins with buckle fastening. The hand stops provide improved grip and consistent rein length, helping the rider maintain contact more easily while the thinner curb reins allow for finer communication and subtle aids, making them ideal for experienced hands managing both snaffle and curb bits simultaneously.
>HARDWARE
While all of our bridles feature the now-trending hook stud fastenings, we've opted for buckle fastenings on this bridle to cater to traditional preferences. Buckles provide a streamlined look, reduce bulk under the fingers, and are often favored for their easy adjustability which is particularly useful during quick tack changes in training or the show jumping rings. If you prefer hook fastenings just let us know, and we’ll gladly customize it with hook closures upon request.
